The throw-in from Emanuel Popete in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zgierskie Zlewy's Rolf King. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

55 minutes into the match, ≮Empire≯Give me five CXK's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Moczkiewicz came free, but Đặng Wind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zdzislaw Moczkiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Đặng Wind was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zgierskie Zlewy fans cheered their team off the field, for while ≮Empire≯Give me five CXK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
