The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Laurgain in the 4th minute of play forced Xipoko's goalkeeper Frederico Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Laurgain scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederico Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Laurgain in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 29 minutes C.A.C. 10's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was José Vítor da Cunha who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that José Vítor da Cunha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Moises Jaume quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Xipoko's Nilson Salles got a free kick in the 31st minute. Kristopher Abbott's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederico Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Frederico Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Laurgain in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Laurgain in the 35th minute of play forced Xipoko's goalkeeper Frederico Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Xipoko's Mané de Brito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moises Jaume narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frederico Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Laurgain, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nildo Macedo got free with Moises Jaume in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cícero Cruz made the kick off in the second half. Kristopher Abbott got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 54 minutes into the game, C.A.C. 10's Vasil Štěpaník nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederico Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 58thth minute of the game Flavio Laurgain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xipoko's Frederico Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Xipoko's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Laurgain came free, but Frederico Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cícero Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Moises Jaume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Jaume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Cruz in the 67th minute of play. Bryce Darby hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Frederico Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moises Jaume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Cruz in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.C. 10's zone, Mané de Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Jaume came out of the goal and Mané de Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Izotz in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Fonseca saved Xipoko from getting behind. After 88 minutes, Gogo Izotz made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Xipoko's Frederico Fonseca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st match minute, Xipoko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Hermes to maneuver through the defense.
