An unexpectedly hard shot by Kubat Älibalalı in the 17th minute of play forced Xipoko's goalkeeper Remo de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Jan-Ivar Nordmo scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remo de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22ndth minute of the game Kubat Älibalalı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xipoko's Remo de Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Mercedes booed when Xipoko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remo de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kubat Älibalalı in the 40th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kubat Älibalalı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remo de Senna was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kubat Älibalalı in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remo de Senna saved Xipoko from getting behind. Xipoko's Remo de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Kauldi in the 61st minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Dinei Capixaba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xipoko's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes the free kick. A collision led to Xipoko getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Dinei Capixaba hit a great ball. Mercedes's Alvaro Abar was substituted for Kubat Älibalalı. Mercedes's Melquiades Chinto was substituted for Filiberto Pinto. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Remo de Senna successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 70th minute, Alvaro Abar made a precise shot to the right of Remo de Senna. Xipoko's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mercedes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
