A collision led to KARŞIYAKA getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Gencay Türker hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Jönsätt in the 4th minute of play forced KARŞIYAKA's goalkeeper Neco Arslanoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doru Şelaru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Neco Arslanoğlu. KARŞIYAKA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, KARŞIYAKA's Neco Arslanoğlu got control of the ball when Ionică Savu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Jönsätt in the 12th minute of play forced KARŞIYAKA's goalkeeper Neco Arslanoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neco Arslanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Savu in the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Laurențiu Todericiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Nirosxn 08's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurențiu Todericiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neco Arslanoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ionică Savu had several of the KARŞIYAKA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Neco Arslanoğlu as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 22nd minute, Emil Atanasiu made a precise shot to the right of Neco Arslanoğlu. KARŞIYAKA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Emil Atanasiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Neco Arslanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Emil Atanasiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Neco Arslanoğlu was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 30 played minutes KARŞIYAKA got a freekick which was hit by Yağızhan Refettin. Neco Arslanoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Savu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Emil Atanasiu struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Neco Arslanoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Nirosxn 08. Laurențiu Todericiu made a great header on AFC Nirosxn 08's corner, it was just that KARŞIYAKA's Neco Arslanoğlu managed to reach the ball for a save. If David Jönsätt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adnan Özbala to make the kick off. AFC Nirosxn 08's Ionică Savu got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, AFC Nirosxn 08's Mugurel Slătineanu got control of the ball when Ergin Oruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, KARŞIYAKA's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Atanasiu came free, but Neco Arslanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute David Jönsätt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neco Arslanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Jönsätt in the 61st minute of play forced KARŞIYAKA's goalkeeper Neco Arslanoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neco Arslanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Atanasiu in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match AFC Nirosxn 08 got a corner. KARŞIYAKA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emil Atanasiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Rupert Brähmig fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KARŞIYAKA's protests and gave Rupert Brähmig a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, one of KARŞIYAKA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KARŞIYAKA. Neco Arslanoğlu had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Ionică Savu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 64th minute, Ionică Savu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Nirosxn 08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. David Jönsätt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neco Arslanoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Atanasiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AFC Nirosxn 08 fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when AFC Nirosxn 08's Ionică Savu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 86 minutes into the match, KARŞIYAKA's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Şelaru came free, but Neco Arslanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Atanasiu in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neco Arslanoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AFC Nirosxn 08's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emil Atanasiu in the 89th minute. The corner led AFC Nirosxn 08's Doru Şelaru to fire away a dangerous shot which Neco Arslanoğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionică Savu in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neco Arslanoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
