SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Fc Aroosos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hermann Viapiano took the corner. The corner ended in Hermann Viapiano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fc Aroosos's Bernardo Mazzola did a great save. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Erland in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Fc Aroosos's Cyryl Brzeszczak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacek Matuch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fc Aroosos's Bernardo Mazzola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Loi in the 32nd minute of play. Gustaw Erland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Matuch having to interfere. Gustaw Erland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 minutes, Roberto Carlos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Bad Harzburg and the Fc Aroosos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Carlos to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvestre Loi was the one to do the kick off. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacek Matuch, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Aroosos's goalkeeper Bernardo Mazzola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo Mazzola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Schulten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Fc Aroosos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hermann Viapiano took the corner. The corner led SV Bad Harzburg's Hermann Viapiano to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Mazzola despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Gustaw Erland, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jacek Matuch was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when Fc Aroosos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wlodzimierz Bentkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Fc Aroosos's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Loi came free, but Bernardo Mazzola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustaw Erland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacek Matuch. That made the score 0-1 in the 83 minute of play. Bernardo Mazzola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Becker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SV Bad Harzburg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hermann Viapiano in the 89th minute. SV Bad Harzburg's Mathias Schulten was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernardo Mazzola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaw Erland could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Jacek Matuch however easily saved by the left post. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaw Erland in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SV Bad Harzburg's zone, Gustaw Erland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacek Matuch came out of the goal and Gustaw Erland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fc Aroosos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
