The referee ignored AFC Richmond's protests and gave Michael Laforest a yellow card for diving instead. Michael Laforest kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Hubert Sharp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Lauaxeta in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Omar Florin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Floresta Manda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Florin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th match minute, AFC Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Merchant to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Lauaxeta in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hubert Sharp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hubert Sharp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Lauaxeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFC Richmond's Hubert Sharp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Berasko in the 22nd minute of play. Julio Blai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Sharp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Zheng Chao Wei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krystian Żmuda in the 34th minute. Lino Lauaxeta scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hubert Sharp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when Club Floresta Manda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the AFC Richmond defense, Lino Lauaxeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hubert Sharp. The AFC Richmond fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hubert Sharp should have stopped the shot.

After 69 minutes of play AFC Richmond's Michael Laforest was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 93rd minute, Dante Enetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Club Floresta Manda's goal looked a bit too open when Krystian Żmuda came free, but Zheng Chao Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Floresta Manda walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
