The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Claudinho Quadros managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Saverio Orlondon in the 3 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haisenberg Dolar in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Ponciano saved Belfegor FC from getting behind. Belfegor FC's Evaristo Ponciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haisenberg Dolar in the 6th minute of play. Evaristo Ponciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haisenberg Dolar went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Haisenberg Dolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 12 minutes into the match, Bjørn Ironside had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Ponciano. Belfegor FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bjørn Ironside was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Marten Palermo came free, but Franco Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Zielinski came free, but Franco Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Everardo Colas to strike the kick off in the second half. Franco Szczęsny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Francescoli in the 89th minute of the match. Evaristo Ponciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belfegor FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
