Franco Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veto Steller in the 18th minute of play. Hubert Sharp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haisenberg Dolar in the 19th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Aurelian Remus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Audax Metropolitano's Franco Szczęsny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when Clube Audax Metropolitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emirşah Berkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Szczęsny made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Aurelian Remus sent off a good shot on target. AFC Richmond were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Clube Audax Metropolitano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erasmo Merchant took the corner. Hubert Sharp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haisenberg Dolar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veto Steller in the 30th minute of play forced Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalkeeper Franco Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC Richmond were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Clube Audax Metropolitano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erasmo Merchant took the corner. Bjørn Ironside kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Veto Steller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hubert Sharp came out of the goal and Bjørn Ironside tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredinho Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Veto Steller struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Franco Szczęsny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Richmond. Hubert Sharp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Netto in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Bruno Aleixo got a free kick in the 67th minute. AFC Richmond's Hubert Sharp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Netto in the 70th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Eriberto Netto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubert Sharp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hubert Sharp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjørn Ironside, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Maicon Mattos took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Hubert Sharp to make any attempt to save it. In the 79th match minute, AFC Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veto Steller to maneuver through the defense. Aurelian Remus scored 1-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franco Szczęsny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Krystian Żmuda hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Hubert Sharp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjørn Ironside in the 89th minute of play. Hubert Sharp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Netto in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Maicon Mattos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hubert Sharp. AFC Richmond's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maicon Mattos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Clube Audax Metropolitano's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
