Rune Söder came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's 王桑辰. But to his dismay, 王桑辰 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rune Söder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuzen Arroniz in the 8th minute of play. Rune Söder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuzen Arroniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If 王桑辰 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Beradze in the 27th minute of play forced Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goalkeeper Xzaiver Lorenzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xzaiver Lorenzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Olsson in the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Zorion Oña made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rune Söder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Humberto Alcaraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Xzaiver Lorenzo made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, 王桑辰 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Söder. Firma Barnängen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 王桑辰 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Zorion Oña hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Humberto Alcaraz could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Xzaiver Lorenzo however easily saved by the left post. Xzaiver Lorenzo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Humberto Alcaraz sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Firma Barnängen's goal looked a bit too open when Zuzen Arroniz came free, but Rune Söder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Firma Barnängen's Humberto Alcaraz made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xzaiver Lorenzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mark Olsson to make the kick off. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Xzaiver Lorenzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Olsson in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Filipe Beradze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Firma Barnängen's Matthias Ekström to fire away a dangerous shot which Xzaiver Lorenzo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Filipe Beradze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Xzaiver Lorenzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Espínola Cabañero seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Espínola Cabañero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Espínola Cabañero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Matthias Ekström took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xzaiver Lorenzo. Xzaiver Lorenzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Xzaiver Lorenzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Beradze in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Humberto Alcaraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzaiver Lorenzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Firma Barnängen's Rune Söder got control of the ball when Zorion Oña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xzaiver Lorenzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Xzaiver Lorenzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Olsson in the 89th minute of the match. After 92 minutes, Santino Mora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato and the Firma Barnängen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santino Mora kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
