In the 10th minute Waldemar Rosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Amundarain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Waldemar Rosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Amundarain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Rosen in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute Miguel Rodríguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Amundarain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liquid Spirit's Marcelo Amundarain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wen Wei Kun came free, but Ni Guang Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Amundarain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 25th minute of the match. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Rodríguez made a kick off. Pinhote FC's Ni Guang Yong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Bonifaco in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Liquid Spirit were awarded a corner. Tancredo Maldonado went to the cornerflag to take it. 55 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luís Ceresso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Liquid Spirit's Marcelo Amundarain. Marcelo Amundarain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcelo Amundarain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Rodríguez in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Liquid Spirit's goalkeeper Marcelo Amundarain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Luís Ceresso. The crowd rose to their feet as Pinhote FC's Miguel Rodríguez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Amundarain. That made the score 1-2 after 70 minutes of play. Ni Guang Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Wei Kun in the 76th minute of play. Liquid Spirit's Marcelo Amundarain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Liquid Spirit from getting a goal against them. Liquid Spirit's Marcelo Amundarain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Rodríguez in the 79th minute of play. A hard shot 81 in the game by Sílvio Luís Ceresso from a close distance when the talented Marcelo Amundarain managed to make a qualified save. Liquid Spirit's players were relieved. In the 93rd minute, Marcos Uzuri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sílvio Luís Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pinhote FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
