The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Hammarby Gård fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Hammarby Gård's Lennart Möller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 13 minutes into the game, Hammarby Gård's Emanuel Hermansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Galvão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Thor Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Svanström in the 19th minute of the match. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipólito Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Emanuel Hermansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Luís Galvão made a huge save. In the 40th minute Gio Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Dahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarl Apelqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Hermansson got free with Luís Galvão in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarl Apelqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Algoso Warriors's Luís Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Apelqvist in the 51st minute of play. Luís Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Apelqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Cândido Perdigão charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cândido Perdigão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Galvão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Algoso Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Hermansson came free, but Luís Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gio Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Sven-Oskar Dahlquist made a huge save. In the 62nd minute, Jarl Apelqvist made a precise shot to the right of Luís Galvão. Algoso Warriors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The Hammarby Gård fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Hammarby Gård's Jarl Apelqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Jarl Apelqvist scored 7-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Galvão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarby Gård's zone, Hipólito Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist came out of the goal and Hipólito Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute Thomas Svanström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Algoso Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Svanström came free, but Luís Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hammarby Gård's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Francisco Menezes was slow to take the kick. During this time Algoso Warriors's players had a chance to rest. Algoso Warriors's Francisco Menezes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sven-Oskar Dahlquist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Francisco Menezes got in the 90th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Sven-Oskar Dahlquist and thus it was 7-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gio Moreno got free with Sven-Oskar Dahlquist in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Algoso Warriors's Tiago Estrela got a free kick in the 95th minute. Hammarby Gård walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
