Julius Klačko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elequemedo Villafañe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Deportivo Galicia got a freekick which was hit by Hermenegildo Menezes. Olaf Kisielka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Elequemedo Villafañe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maiorga Espriella in the 20th minute of play forced La MaKina del Parque's goalkeeper Görkem Tokdemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Julius Klačko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elequemedo Villafañe. Cordeara Igay kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, La MaKina del Parque's Olaf Kisielka made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elequemedo Villafañe was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julius Klačko to make the kick off. Fabian Cordearo's late challenge caught a La MaKina del Parque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julius Klačko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute Julius Klačko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elequemedo Villafañe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermenegildo Menezes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The La MaKina del Parque supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La MaKina del Parque would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
