After 6 played minutes Belo Academy got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Madureira. After a defensive mix-up in Belo Academy's zone, Doctor Mugg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Eduardo Mazza came out of the goal and Doctor Mugg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaltino Dantas got free with Theo Fil in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doctor Mugg in the 16th minute of play forced Belo Academy's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráusio Madureira hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Doctor Mugg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Belo Academy's Luís Eduardo Mazza. Luís Eduardo Mazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Isaltino Dantas could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Theo Fil however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Belo Academy getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ferenc Szántó hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Doctor Mugg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luís Eduardo Mazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Theo Fil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xentrias's Christer Peterson was substituted for Albert Rudberg. In the 39th minute Xentrias were awarded a corner. Lars-Erik Almstedt went to the cornerflag to take it. Aaron Molander made a great header on Xentrias's corner, it was just that Belo Academy's Luís Eduardo Mazza managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Belo Academy booed when Xentrias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Closet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belo Academy's Luizão Dinamite shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Theo Fil but with some difficulty.

Xentrias's Theo Fil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio Madureira in the 56th minute of play. If Manfredo Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars-Erik Almstedt. Theo Fil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Madureira in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Lars-Erik Almstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Madureira in the 86th minute of play forced Xentrias's goalkeeper Theo Fil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magdaleno Andersson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Luís Eduardo Mazza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 91st minute Xentrias were awarded a corner. Lars-Erik Almstedt went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Xentrias's Lars-Erik Almstedt to fire away a dangerous shot which Luís Eduardo Mazza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Adam Sävström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Eduardo Mazza. That made the score 0-4 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over Xentrias could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Belo Academy throughout the match.
