André Zonta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute Maximino Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Aluneanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of El retorno del Pincha booed when Cobresal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Quintero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionuț Aluneanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Inautzi in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, El retorno del Pincha's Maximino Lope nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionuț Aluneanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cobresal's Ionuț Aluneanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Lope in the 35th minute of play. After taking down the ball on El retorno del Pincha's corner Mercado Paulista fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ionuț Aluneanu quite easily take care of the ball. André Zonta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregorio Quintero in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Augusto Pirinchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mercado Paulista in the 44th minute of play forced Cobresal's goalkeeper Ionuț Aluneanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
