Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Ryttartorpets FF's Gottfrid Backlund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, John-Arne Riise had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrik Linqvist. Ryttartorpets FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John-Arne Riise was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. John-Arne Riise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Patrik Linqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Hønning's goal looked a bit too open when Gottfrid Backlund came free, but Dirch Glerum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kim Kellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the game, John-Arne Riise was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hønning's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ryttartorpets FF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hønning's John-Arne Riise got a free kick in the 13th minute. Hønning's Dirch Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottfrid Backlund in the 19th minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Ryttartorpets FF's Gabriel Martinelli made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dirch Glerum was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gabriel Martinelli scored 2-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dirch Glerum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrik Linqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Arne Riise in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by John-Arne Riise in the 37th minute of play forced Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ryttartorpets FF booed when Hønning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dirch Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gottfrid Backlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John-Arne Riise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute of the match, Gabriel Martinelli got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dirch Glerum was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gottfrid Backlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dirch Glerum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Gabriel Martinelli struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Dirch Glerum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ryttartorpets FF. Ryttartorpets FF's Jon Nilsson was substituted for Morgan Fagerberg. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when John-Arne Riise made the kick off in the second half. Ren Smuts took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dirch Glerum. Dirch Glerum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 58 minutes in the game, John-Arne Riise fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Patrik Linqvist having to interfere. Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Arne Riise in the 58th minute of play. Dirch Glerum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gottfrid Backlund went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gottfrid Backlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ryttartorpets FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Gottfrid Backlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirch Glerum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viggo Rang struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Dirch Glerum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ryttartorpets FF. Viggo Rang took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dirch Glerum. Dirch Glerum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Dirch Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benno Bonk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Linqvist was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and John-Arne Riise capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. John-Arne Riise really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. John-Arne Riise's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Linqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Ryttartorpets FF's Benno Bonk got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Hønning booed when Ryttartorpets FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benno Bonk didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viggo Rang in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dirch Glerum saved Hønning from getting behind. Ryttartorpets FF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hønning for a fine match.
