The supporters of Antapoca FC booed when Jr Familia Campos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hieronim Frodyma didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Petri in the 40th minute of play forced Jr Familia Campos FC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cléberson Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jr Familia Campos FC's protests and gave Cléberson Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jr Familia Campos FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Cléberson Baiano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Antapoca FC's zone, Leo Crespo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Llorenc came out of the goal and Leo Crespo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Crespo was the one to do the kick off. Aristides Favila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Marcelinho Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Llorenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Crespo in the 93rd minute of play. Icke Braa hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Antapoca FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
