An unexpectedly hard shot by Feijo Freire in the 5th minute of play forced União Verde FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pérez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 played minutes União Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Maciel. The audience was convinced that Feijo Freire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdir Pérez was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Demis Son managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Demis Son was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir Pérez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdir Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demis Son, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernandão Loyola to make the kick off. Valdir Pérez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feijo Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Demis Son came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Golden Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demis Son couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Feijo Freire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdir Pérez. União Verde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feijo Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Golden Tigers's Feijo Freire was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 66th minute, Feijo Freire reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valdir Pérez. The goal made the score 0-4. Feijo Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Lukáš Sychra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Pérez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdir Pérez had great luck who in the 71stth minute grab hold of the ball when Feijo Freire from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Golden Tigers's Demis Son was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valdir Pérez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Valdir Pérez was a little too slow when Feijo Freire got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-5. With his leg Valdir Pérez managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Golden Tigers's Feijo Freire fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victoriano Porfiro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Feijo Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Valdir Pérez made a huge save. Golden Tigers's Feijo Freire was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Golden Tigers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
