In the 23rd minute Tord Söderqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheng De Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, GoldDiam V55's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Söderqvist came free, but Cheng De Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tord Söderqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's supporters rose to their feet, but Tord Söderqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cheng De Jing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliodor Barbosu took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicky Donda. Vicky Donda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cheng De Jing came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Tord Söderqvist. But to his dismay, Tord Söderqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 35 minutes into the match, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Vicky Donda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabin Bugariu. In the 37th minute, Tord Söderqvist made a precise shot to the right of Cheng De Jing. GoldDiam V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 39th minute Eliodor Barbosu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliodor Barbosu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vicky Donda. That made the score 3-3 in the 41 minute of play. With 44 minutes on the clock, Ştefan Paveliuc commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 45th match minute, GoldDiam V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Paveliuc to maneuver through the defense. Cheng De Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Chico in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Erhan Değirmenci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GoldDiam V55 and the ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes GoldDiam V55 got a freekick which was hit by Erhan Değirmenci. Lajos Szatmári fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheng De Jing having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Cheng De Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Söderqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicky Donda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Barbosu in the 61st minute of play. After 64 played minutes ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ got a freekick which was hit by Tord Söderqvist. After 71 played minutes GoldDiam V55 got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Bojanowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Macarie in the 75th minute of play forced ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Vicky Donda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cheng De Jing was a little too slow when Ángel Romero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 3-4. Moise Marinescu scored 4-4 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicky Donda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tord Söderqvist in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cheng De Jing saved GoldDiam V55 from getting behind. Vicky Donda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliodor Barbosu in the 86th minute of the match. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Hernan Chico quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gwidon Bojanowski, made in the 89th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Macarie in the 91st minute of play forced ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Vicky Donda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliodor Barbosu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicky Donda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Macarie came free, but Vicky Donda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
