Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Artūrs Sagalats took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ragnar Törnkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ragnar Törnkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SK Annenieki booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Törnkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute, Indris Tomass made a precise shot to the right of Aron Dahlbom. MAFFIAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artūrs Sagalats, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Artūrs Sagalats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Östen Vennersten. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artūrs Sagalats in the 16th minute of play. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jāzeps Pics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jānis Lielais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by SK Annenieki's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Östen Vennersten was slow to take the kick. During this time MAFFIAN's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Alex Vallin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinholds Jaunzems in the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Alex Vallin managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAFFIAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Vallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jānis Lielais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indris Tomass, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ragnar Törnkvist was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Reinholds Jaunzems came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jānis Lielais having to interfere. MAFFIAN's Stig Enegren was substituted for Dennis Edström. Thanks to some nice moves Jāzeps Pics could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Aron Dahlbom however easily saved by the left post. In the 69th minute SK Annenieki were awarded a corner. Reinholds Jaunzems went to the cornerflag to take it. SK Annenieki's Ingus Rencis was substituted for Drosmis Kalnaiza. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philip Hedin in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jānis Lielais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Björn Pååk's late challenge caught a SK Annenieki's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Pååk helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Björn Pååk. 80 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's Jāzeps Pics sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Dahlbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilis Lettlands, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Vilis Lettlands came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SK Annenieki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilis Lettlands couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Greger Broberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aron Dahlbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinholds Jaunzems went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Jānis Lielais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Hedin in the 95th minute of the match. SK Annenieki played a much better game than MAFFIAN and deserved their victory. The MAFFIAN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
