The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erlantz Bermejo was the one to do the kick off. Club Puerto Quito's Santiago Huemen got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauricio Precioso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leroy Antunez's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Mauricio Precioso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leroy Antunez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Xesc Jorquera.
