The audience thought a goal was coming when Ragnar Törnkvist got free with Emilio Festuccia in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Kristoffer Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Festuccia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Ragnar Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Festuccia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Festuccia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Hedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 51stth minute of the game Philip Hedin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but As Melfi 1929's Emilio Festuccia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilio Festuccia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. A collision led to As Melfi 1929 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Fedele Frabetti hit a great ball. Ragnar Törnkvist hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. As Melfi 1929's Emilio Festuccia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Säfström in the 84th minute of play. Ragnar Törnkvist scored 6-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Festuccia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute Alf Säfström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Festuccia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Frisk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emilio Festuccia. As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MAFFIAN had played much better football throughout.
