Enrico Abete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Festuccia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rufino Giron's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. A collision led to As Melfi 1929 getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Fedele Frabetti hit a great ball. Antonio Antonelli kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Emilio Festuccia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Huemen in the 15th minute of play. Rufino Giron took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Festuccia. Emilio Festuccia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jhon Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Emilio Festuccia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Cilli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Precioso having to interfere. Marcelo Noceda kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Emilio Festuccia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jhon Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. As Melfi 1929's Emilio Festuccia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufino Giron in the 29th minute of play. Emilio Festuccia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jhon Costa went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Mauricio Precioso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Abete in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ayoví Costoya in the 37th minute of play forced As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper Emilio Festuccia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rufino Giron took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Festuccia. Emilio Festuccia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. A collision led to Club Puerto Quito getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ayoví Costoya hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Ayoví Costoya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Festuccia. As Melfi 1929's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ayoví Costoya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Cilli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Precioso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Cilli's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The corner ended in Antonio Antonelli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Puerto Quito's Mauricio Precioso did a great save. Rufino Giron received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emilio Festuccia came out and tried to block the shot, but Rufino Giron slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 59th minute. Santiago Huemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Emilio Festuccia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Festuccia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jhon Costa in the 64th minute. Mauricio Precioso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Di Cesare, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With 73 minutes on the clock, Daniele Belfiore commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Emilio Festuccia made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Marcelo Noceda sent off a good shot on target. Mauricio Precioso came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by As Melfi 1929's Fulvio Di Cesare. But to his dismay, Fulvio Di Cesare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. In the 88th minute, Fedele Frabetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jhon Costa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, As Melfi 1929's Emilio Festuccia got control of the ball when Rufino Giron tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute Erdinç Hayırlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Festuccia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufino Giron in the 97th minute of play forced As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper Emilio Festuccia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to As Melfi 1929 getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Fedele Frabetti hit a great ball. The As Melfi 1929 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Puerto Quito were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
