Villa Castelar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vae Victis!! the free kick. Bonifacio Urtsin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes, Délio Tasso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vae Victis!! and the Villa Castelar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vae Victis!!:s Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed great skill when he stopped Gregorio Rexino:s penalty. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Serapio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Fernandinho Mota's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Marco Isias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tiago Gabriel Cabral came out of the goal and Igor Serapio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernandinho Mota to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho Mota in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute Agron Elmasllari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Isias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Gregorio Rexino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Castelar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Rexino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Gigliotti in the 63rd minute of the match. If José Carlos de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute.
