Dacian Măcriș started the match with the kick off. Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Vae Victis!! from getting a goal against them. Pol Putov kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 18th play minutes Dacian Măcriș shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Åke Utter and just under the crossbar into goal. 22 minutes into the match, Bill Fitzpatrick notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral. Tiago Gabriel Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, FC NILS's Bill Fitzpatrick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Gabriel Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC NILS were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Vae Victis!!'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pol Putov took the corner. Americo Portas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Horácio Magalhães notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC NILS's Åke Utter. Åke Utter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute, Bill Fitzpatrick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC NILS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Ferdi Kadıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos de Salles in the 41st minute of play forced FC NILS's goalkeeper Åke Utter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Bill Fitzpatrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, FC NILS's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Măcriș came free, but Åke Utter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pol Putov to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Dacian Măcriș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Utter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Merry Christmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oswaldo Brasil lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Vae Victis!! made a substitution. Valentin Ţirpescu replaced Dacian Măcriș. Vae Victis!!'s Emmanuel Gigliotti was substituted for Agron Elmasllari. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vae Victis!! fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! The referee gave FC NILS a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pol Putov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral. 4-2. 72 minutes into the game, Pol Putov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC NILS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vae Victis!! the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, FC NILS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pol Putov to maneuver through the defense. Vae Victis!!'s Fernandinho Mota was substituted for Hugo Jacinto. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merry Christmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of Vae Victis!! booed when FC NILS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Gaueko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Gabriel Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merry Christmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 90 in the game by Emmanuel Gigliotti from a close distance when the talented Åke Utter managed to make a qualified save. FC NILS's players were relieved. Tiago Gabriel Cabral came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC NILS's Darin Bozduganov. But to his dismay, Darin Bozduganov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. In the 95th minute Horácio Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Utter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC NILS's Tim Nordlund got a free kick in the 97th minute. FC NILS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
