Augusto Stephen started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Edvard Carlsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vae Victis!!'s Mads Saver. Mads Saver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th minute, Augusto Stephen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goblins F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Shen Yi Yuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Măcriș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Măcriș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shen Yi Yuan having to interfere. If Augusto Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agron Elmasllaris short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Shen Yi Yuan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Vae Victis!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mads Saver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute Edvard Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mads Saver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Edvard Carlsson notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Vae Victis!!'s Mads Saver. Mads Saver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Goblins F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Goblins F.C.'s Edvard Carlsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vae Victis!!'s Mads Saver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Stephen in the 37th minute of play. Shen Yi Yuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Măcriș in the 42nd minute of the match. Goblins F.C.'s Shen Yi Yuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Goblins F.C. from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Carlsson came free, but Mads Saver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vae Victis!!'s zone, Bixintxo Clusella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mads Saver came out of the goal and Bixintxo Clusella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dacian Măcriș made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Măcriș in the 54th minute of play forced Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Shen Yi Yuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesinha Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesinha Galvão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Vae Victis!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesinha Galvão to maneuver through the defense. Vae Victis!!'s Mads Saver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Carlsson in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Augusto Stephen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goblins F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Stephen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Cris Beckenbauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oswaldo Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vae Victis!!'s zone, Augusto Stephen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mads Saver came out of the goal and Augusto Stephen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Stephen hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vae Victis!!'s zone, Augusto Stephen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mads Saver came out of the goal and Augusto Stephen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesinha Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Edvard Carlsson made a precise shot to the right of Mads Saver. Vae Victis!!'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 87th minute of the match, Augusto Stephen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mads Saver was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cesinha Galvão hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Vae Victis!!'s Mads Saver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Carlsson in the 91st minute of play. Horácio Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shen Yi Yuan having to interfere. Valentin Ţirpescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shen Yi Yuan having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Goblins F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
