With splendid footwork Dacian Măcriș arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 2nd minute. In the 5th minute, Oswaldo Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Denis Lambrozzi came free, but Mads Saver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Francis Aberle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mads Saver was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10thth minute of the game Dacian Măcriș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fire Devils's Loris Hellmüller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agron Elmasllari's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Loris Hellmüller skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Cillian Zellweger fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fire Devils's protests and gave Cillian Zellweger a yellow card for diving instead. Vae Victis!!'s supporters stood up full of expectation in the 15th minute of the game, when Jonathan de Queiroz after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Fire Devils's goal. Jonathan de Queiroz was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. With his leg Loris Hellmüller managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Vae Victis!!'s Agron Elmasllari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Remi Näf kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agron Elmasllari got free with Loris Hellmüller in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Lambrozzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agron Elmasllari struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Loris Hellmüller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vae Victis!!. Vae Victis!!'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by José Carlos de Salles in the 30th minute. Francis Aberle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mads Saver read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Fire Devils were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Vae Victis!!'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Franco Verdon took the corner. The corner led Fire Devils's Franco Verdon to fire away a dangerous shot which Mads Saver despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Agron Elmasllari didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 36th minute. Vae Victis!!'s supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! If Horácio Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cillian Zellweger to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 46 minutes, Agron Elmasllari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vae Victis!!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Agron Elmasllari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francis Aberle to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Mads Saver had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francis Aberle. Loris Hellmüller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agron Elmasllari in the 57th minute of the match. Franco Verdon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Mads Saver made a huge save. Mads Saver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Aberle in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Fire Devils were awarded a corner. Franco Verdon went to the cornerflag to take it. If Dacian Măcriș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vae Victis!! made a substitution. Valentin Ţirpescu replaced Dacian Măcriș. If Francis Aberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Vae Victis!!'s Mads Saver got control of the ball when Francis Aberle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fire Devils's Loris Hellmüller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Ţirpescu in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Francis Aberle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fire Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francis Aberle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vae Victis!!'s Emmanuel Gigliotti was substituted for Agron Elmasllari. Loris Hellmüller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emmanuel Gigliotti went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Loris Hellmüller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Ţirpescu's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 6-0 became the score in the 81st minute when Emmanuel Gigliotti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Loris Hellmüller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emmanuel Gigliotti went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After recieving a nice pass, Vae Victis!!'s José Carlos de Salles tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s Emmanuel Gigliotti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loris Hellmüller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 90th play minutes Emmanuel Gigliotti shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Loris Hellmüller and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Valentin Ţirpescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loris Hellmüller was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Loris Hellmüller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Gigliotti's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Vae Victis!!'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
