Claude Erosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Alagoano in the 27th minute of play forced Ona Somrient FC's goalkeeper Claude Erosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birmingham Railers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by João Vítor Trevisan in the 29th minute. The corner ended in Jacek Bartocha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ona Somrient FC's Claude Erosa did a great save. In the 31st minute Luizão Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Erosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birmingham Railers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by João Vítor Trevisan in the 32nd minute. Claude Erosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Birmingham Railers FC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Ona Somrient FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Vítor Trevisan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that João Vítor Trevisan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claude Erosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Claude Erosa had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping João Vítor Trevisan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Álvaro de Brito in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claude Erosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th match minute, Birmingham Railers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Kingisepp to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Enzo Herrero made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Olaf Kingisepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Erosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Birmingham Railers FC's Wen Yin Zhen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claude Erosa. That made the score 0-1 after 55 minutes of play. Ona Somrient FC made a substitution. Fernan Alcantara replaced Silvano Montes. Claude Erosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Yin Zhen in the 60th minute of play. João Vítor Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Anakoz Amer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulysses Pernambucano hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute of the match, Anakoz Amer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claude Erosa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Wen Yin Zhen advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 83rd minute. Claude Erosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Álvaro de Brito in the 91st minute. Edvaldo de Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvaldo de Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Birmingham Railers FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
