Ged Nightingale was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zhu Bin Kun came free, but Ged Nightingale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Eulalio Bastian managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Arrows Academy FC's Grzegorz Piechna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Arrows Academy FC's Pacho Quintianan got a free kick in the 39th minute. Santiago Abastas got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Guy Hogg. In the 45th minute Enzo Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ged Nightingale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alejo Bermudo fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Mandiyu's protests and gave Alejo Bermudo a yellow card for diving instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grzegorz Piechna to strike the kick off in the second half. Eulalio Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wen Jie Ting in the 55th minute of the match. Guy Hogg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Bastian having to interfere. The supporters of Arrows Academy FC booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Bermudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Ged Nightingale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Cherro. The audience was convinced that Grzegorz Piechna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eulalio Bastian was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Mandiyu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arrows Academy FC.
