Joinville Esporte Clube's A.J. 韩文海 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Joinville Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. A.J. 韩文海 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maksim Ivaschenko in the 54th minute of the match. Joinville Esporte Clube's Allan Simão was substituted for Aílton Melo. In the 63rd minute, Aílton Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led FK Amur's Ruben Borovoy to fire away a dangerous shot which A.J. 韩文海 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Joinville Esporte Clube got a corner. FK Amur's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The Joinville Esporte Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Joinville Esporte Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
