Surahammar's Radamel Oakley got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, André Pettersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Radamel Oakley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surahammar's supporters rose to their feet, but Radamel Oakley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonello Ranieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radamel Oakley in the 14th minute of play forced Stintino FC's goalkeeper Antonello Ranieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Surahammar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Virgil Van Dijk in the 15th minute. The corner led to Surahammar's Vincent Benett getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Carl Engström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Rizzo in the 18th minute. Antonello Ranieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radamel Oakley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Stintino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel Oakley came free, but Antonello Ranieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Stintino FC's zone, Radamel Oakley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonello Ranieri came out of the goal and Radamel Oakley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Surahammar booed when Stintino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Rizzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stintino FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Virgil Van Dijk was slow to take the kick. During this time Surahammar's players had a chance to rest. Surahammar's André Pettersson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antonello Ranieri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Stintino FC's Alex Rizzo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carl Engström. That made the score 1-2 after 31 minutes of play. Attilio Losito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Carl Engström made a huge save. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Arrigo Iannucci sped through Surahammar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carl Engström. After some careless play in the Stintino FC defense, Radamel Oakley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonello Ranieri. The Stintino FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonello Ranieri should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Rizzo got free with Carl Engström in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonello Ranieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radamel Oakley in the 44th minute of the match. Carl Engström was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Enzo Ascenzi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enzo Ascenzi really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Adrian Kodzhabashev got a free kick in the 57th minute. Adrian Kodzhabashev kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Alvise Vittorio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Victor Santxol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonello Ranieri having to make a save. Carl Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Iannucci in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Rizzo came free, but Carl Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Alex Rizzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Surahammar's Casemiro Joinvilense managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alvise Vittorio in the 81 minute of the game. After 84 minutes of play, Surahammar's André Pettersson made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonello Ranieri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute of the match Surahammar got a corner. Stintino FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgil Van Dijk ran over to the corner to take the kick. Victor Santxol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
