Jimeno Nevada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pape Lillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, Club Atlético Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Luke to maneuver through the defense. Jimeno Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Jian Chang in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Jian Chang in the 18th minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Jimeno Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide De Sanctis kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Samuel Pereira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Silviano Huilcaman made a precise shot to the right of Clark Kent. Zorros del Desierto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Darío Verón came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Erasmo Luke put in a rough tackle. Jimeno Nevada had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Darío Verón's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 30 minutes of play, Zorros del Desierto's Darío Verón made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimeno Nevada was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Taci Argün got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Cai Jian Chang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clark Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviano Huilcaman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviano Huilcaman in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Dijoux made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Darío Verón came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taci Argün in the 56th minute of play. Zorros del Desierto's Sebastián Roco was substituted for Luis Alberto Spinetta. In the 58th minute Club Atlético Magallanes were awarded a corner. Samuel Pereira went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 60th minute Silviano Huilcaman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimeno Nevada was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Darío Verón showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 61 minute of play. Club Atlético Magallanes made a substitution. Tadeo Precioso replaced Samuel Pereira. Club Atlético Magallanes's Jimeno Nevada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Magallanes from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Magallanes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Darío Verón was slow to take the kick. During this time Zorros del Desierto's players had a chance to rest. Leonardo Naelio thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jimeno Nevada, a very annoying self made goal in the 70th minute which led to 1-3. Silviano Huilcaman took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clark Kent. Clark Kent dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 80 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Dijoux came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmo Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Club Atlético Magallanes's Jimeno Nevada got control of the ball when Alex Dijoux tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Przemyslaw Niedziela got a free kick in the 87th minute. Darío Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimeno Nevada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Silviano Huilcaman had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Pablo Abdallah hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zorros del Desierto's zone, Aquiles Joey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clark Kent came out of the goal and Aquiles Joey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zorros del Desierto eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
