With a couple of smart ball manuevers Turgay Hafi in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sokol Narev saved Sunkens Surtröjor from getting behind. In the 12th minute Evelio Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Nerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sunkens Surtröjor's Ke Zheng Feng was substituted for Börje Njurenius. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turgay Hafi to make the kick off. In the 94th minute, Çelikan Koçaş made a precise shot to the right of Sokol Narev. Sunkens Surtröjor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.
