Thalis Krommidas started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Krommidas in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konstantin Pančur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thalis Krommidas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konstantin Pančur having to make a save. Konstantin Pančur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thalis Krommidas in the 4th minute of the match. Thalis Krommidas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 7 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Krommidas came free, but Konstantin Pančur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konstantin Pančur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thalis Krommidas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantin Pančur saved HIT Gorica from getting behind. AEK S.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Carreira in the 22nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Aníbal Lima heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donzel Goyeneta in the 24th minute of play. Thalis Krommidas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Konstantin Pančur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thalis Krommidas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Krommidas came free, but Konstantin Pančur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Thalis Krommidas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Pančur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konstantin Pančur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anis Doberšek during the 39th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Goražd Djordjević stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Vaggelis Mitsiou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstantin Pančur was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Donzel Goyeneta could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Konstantin Pančur however easily saved by the left post. If Vaggelis Mitsiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Konstantin Pančur came out of the goal and Vaggelis Mitsiou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vaggelis Mitsiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Mitsiou in the 94th minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 98 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Donzel Goyeneta came free, but Konstantin Pančur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AEK S.C played a much better game than HIT Gorica and deserved their victory. The HIT Gorica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
