After some careless play in the Timmernabben FF defense, Anak Agung Štriker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Guillen. The Timmernabben FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Guillen should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, BloodHounds F.C.'s Tiberiu Cârnu got a free kick in the 11th minute. Astor Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakarias Stephansson in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes BloodHounds F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anton Hegg who took care of the corner kick. Anton Hegg made a great header on Timmernabben FF's corner, it was just that BloodHounds F.C.'s Astor Ruy managed to reach the ball for a save. Anton Hegg shot a long shot in the 16th minute and a light blocked Astor Ruy hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. Tomás Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anak Agung Štriker in the 24th minute of play. Ivo Queirozs short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Tomás Guillen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anak Agung Štriker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tomás Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Queiroz in the 33rd minute of play forced Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Tomás Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Tomás Guillen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mesut Özil. When BloodHounds F.C.'s Ivo Queiroz in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. BloodHounds F.C.'s Astor Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakarias Stephansson in the 44th minute of play. Astor Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivo Queiroz made a kick off. Tomás Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Queiroz in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anak Agung Štriker in the 53rd minute of play forced Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Tomás Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo Queiroz took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Guillen. Tomás Guillen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 57th minute, Mesut Özil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Guillen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. BloodHounds F.C.'s Esteve Quintan was substituted for Mesut Özil. In the 68th minute Flavio Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Bergman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Ruy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Astor Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Flavio Leobardo scored 6-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Guillen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flavio Leobardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomás Guillen having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Leobardo in the 94th minute of play forced Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Tomás Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Leobardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Guillen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Leobardo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Leobardo in the 97th minute of play forced Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Tomás Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timmernabben FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
