A collision led to Paladar Negro FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Dawid Kolano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Panasewicz in the 14th minute of play forced Paladar Negro FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Edur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Karol Panasewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Edur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paladar Negro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Afşar Uçuk was slow to take the kick. During this time Blue Mountain State's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when Paladar Negro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawid Kolano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Karol Panasewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Mountain State's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karol Panasewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when Paladar Negro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qu Song Xi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Karol Panasewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blue Mountain State fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Paladar Negro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Panasewicz came free, but Aquilino Edur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Blue Mountain State's Aykut Aşkın getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Aquilino Edur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Panasewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute of the match Blue Mountain State got a corner. Paladar Negro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afşar Uçuk ran over to the corner to take the kick. Blue Mountain State's Yaser Oğuzman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aquilino Edur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Blue Mountain State were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Ursini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Blue Mountain State's Karol Panasewicz in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paladar Negro FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Paladar Negro FC's Dawid Kolano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Robin Sharma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Ursini in the 57th minute of the match. Karol Panasewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquilino Edur having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Blue Mountain State's Aquilino Edur threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karol Panasewicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Paladar Negro FC's Vicente Maraman got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66thth minute of the game Lionel-Andrés Messi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paladar Negro FC's Aquilino Edur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Lionel-Andrés Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 67th minute of play forced Paladar Negro FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Edur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Dawid Kolano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes of play, Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquilino Edur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aquilino Edur came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi. But to his dismay, Lionel-Andrés Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 87th minute of play forced Paladar Negro FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Edur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 88 in the game by Lionel-Andrés Messi from a close distance when the talented Aquilino Edur managed to make a qualified save. Paladar Negro FC's players were relieved. If Lionel-Andrés Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paladar Negro FC's Aquilino Edur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 94th minute of play. The Blue Mountain State supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Blue Mountain State would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
