In the 19th minute, Zé Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Dorian Terra made a precise shot to the right of Eddy Stoorms. Invictus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s goalkeeper Félix Mielle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sean Mallecots. 30 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Hylen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Félix Mielle, 1-1. Invictus FC's attentive Marnix De Vorster managed to snatch the ball when Carlos Alberto Figueiredo made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Ruud Schautens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Félix Mielle. AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruud Schautens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oséas Dias was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Sean Mallecots came free, but Félix Mielle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Félix Mielle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Mallecots in the 51st minute of play. Eddy Stoorms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Terra in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes AF GuiFiguer OUT!! got a freekick which was hit by Zé Abraão. Félix Mielle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Mallecots, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 59 minutes AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ron Aelgoet who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Invictus FC's Ron Aelgoet to fire away a dangerous shot which Félix Mielle despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Invictus FC's Sean Mallecots in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s goalie prevented a goal. Sean Mallecots scored 3-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Félix Mielle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Hylen came free, but Félix Mielle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Sean Mallecots made a precise shot to the right of Félix Mielle. AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 74 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's Sean Mallecots sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Félix Mielle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sean Mallecots struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Félix Mielle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Invictus FC. Invictus FC's Octaaf Van der Meiren was substituted for Alexander Hendrickx. The throw-in from Zé Abraão in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Invictus FC's Marnix De Vorster. The audience was convinced that Sean Mallecots's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Félix Mielle was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Félix Mielle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Mallecots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, AF GuiFiguer OUT!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Abraão to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sean Mallecots in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Félix Mielle saved AF GuiFiguer OUT!! from getting behind. 93 minutes into the game, Zé Abraão threw the ball into play from the sideline. Invictus FC's Marnix De Vorster quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sean Mallecots might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Félix Mielle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sean Mallecots ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 minutes, Zé Abraão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AF GuiFiguer OUT!! and the Invictus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zé Abraão hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sean Mallecots in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Félix Mielle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Invictus FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while AF GuiFiguer OUT!! had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
