San Nicolò Kings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Archie Brodie ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Miguel Zuasnabar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Catucci was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 70th minute Gavião Kyikatejê were awarded a corner. Archie Brodie went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Gavião Kyikatejê's Archie Brodie to fire away a dangerous shot which Franco Catucci despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Archie Brodie got a free kick in the 79th minute. The supporters of San Nicolò Kings booed when Gavião Kyikatejê was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Archie Brodie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sitthachat Jampeehom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nildo Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Tagliente came free, but Sitthachat Jampeehom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Zuasnabar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Franco Catucci made a huge save. In the 85thth minute of the game Miguel Zuasnabar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Nicolò Kings's Franco Catucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franco Catucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Zuasnabar in the 91st minute of play. Chants of Gavião Kyikatejê echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as San Nicolò Kings had held the ball for most of the match.
