The corner ended in Harm de Freitas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC juveMET's Raşit Özdilek did a great save. When Christijan Schreuder came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Verwachting fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christijan Schreuder couldn't finish the play. If Christijan Schreuder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Verwachting getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Hans Deitmers hit a great ball.
