Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sean Mallecots got the match started through his kick off. Marnix De Vorster hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Japke de Boer in the 12th minute of play forced Invictus FC's goalkeeper Eddy Stoorms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Koekkoek made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Twan Hesseling immediately put the ball in play. Sean Mallecots scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Hilhorst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Mallecots in the 21st minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sean Mallecots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Herbert Hilhorst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Mallecots in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Sean Mallecots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Hilhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Vincent Koekkoek in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Invictus FC's Octave Hendrickx. A nice corner shot did that Sean Mallecots got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Herbert Hilhorst quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 34th minute, Maxwell van Beek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Sean Mallecots had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Hilhorst. Verwachting's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sean Mallecots was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 40th minute, Jordi Janssen had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Adriaan Kuypers's late challenge caught a Invictus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriaan Kuypers helped the player get up and apologised. Invictus FC's Octaaf Van der Meiren was substituted for Jordi Janssen. After 41 played minutes Verwachting got a freekick which was hit by Adriaan Kuypers. Herbert Hilhorst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Mallecots in the 43rd minute of play. Herbert Hilhorst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Mallecots in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Verwachting got a freekick which was hit by Japke de Boer. Herbert Hilhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Mallecots, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Herbert Hilhorst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Mallecots in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Verwachting getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Christijan Schreuder hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Sean Mallecots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Hilhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Ron Aelgoet got a free kick in the 56th minute. Sean Mallecots's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Hilhorst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Herbert Hilhorst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sean Mallecots went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Leendert Dekker's late challenge caught a Invictus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leendert Dekker helped the player get up and apologised. Herbert Hilhorst had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ron Aelgoet's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sean Mallecots blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herbert Hilhorst having to make a save. Invictus FC's attentive Octave Hendrickx managed to snatch the ball when Vincent Koekkoek made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. When Sean Mallecots came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Invictus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Mallecots couldn't finish the play. Twan Hesseling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Twan Hesseling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Eddy Stoorms was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Invictus FC had won after a very even match.
