An unexpectedly hard shot by Xanthos Fikias in the 12th minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Carlos Suciu came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet. But to his dismay, Ladislao Harriet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 16 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Doblas. Juan Carlos Suciu came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet. But to his dismay, Ladislao Harriet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. If Ladislao Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Harriet in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Carlos Suciu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Fructuoso Echavarri. 27 minutes into the match, Natalio Blanco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Carlos Suciu. Salud y República's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natalio Blanco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Uriel Malvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reyes No, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Salud y República's Ventura Ladra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Uriel Malvin. That made the score 1-5 after 32 minutes of play. After 35 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Iosu Pantoja. Furo Bolas struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Juan Carlos Suciu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empire of Soccer. Juan Carlos Suciu came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet. But to his dismay, Ladislao Harriet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Berto Calatayud made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fructuoso Echavarri. 1-7 became the score in the 44th minute when Xanthos Fikias elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half Empire of Soccer were leading 1-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reyes No was the one to do the kick off. Juan Carlos Suciu came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet. But to his dismay, Ladislao Harriet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. Fructuoso Echavarri kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Berto Calatayud kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Ladislao Harriet rounded Salud y República's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-9. 66 minutes into the game, Natalio Blanco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-10. Juan Carlos Suciu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Ladislao Harriet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Carlos Suciu. That made the score 1-11 in the 69 minute of play. Juan Carlos Suciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Xanthos Fikias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Carlos Suciu. Salud y República's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xanthos Fikias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-12. Juan Carlos Suciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xanthos Fikias in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Blanco. In the 80th minute Ladislao Harriet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Suciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ladislao Harriet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Carlos Suciu. That made the score 1-13 in the 81 minute of play. Juan Carlos Suciu was a little too slow when Xanthos Fikias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-14. 90 minutes into the match, Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Harriet. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ladislao Harriet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Empire of Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Harriet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Carlos Suciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Salud y República booed when Empire of Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernán Grana didn't get a good kick on the ball.
