In the 7th minute of the match Cecilio Feliz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alam Wah showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Sebastián Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alam Wah. LiverBird Flyers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastián Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. LiverBird Flyers FC's Alam Wah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Villa in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to LiverBird Flyers FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Göktürk Demir hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Sebastián Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Alam Wah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastián Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alam Wah having to make a save. Alam Wah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sebastián Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastián Villa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alam Wah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Cavaliers FC's Cornelio Villegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Cavaliers FC from getting a goal against them. If Ambrosio Iratxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Sebastián Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alam Wah. LiverBird Flyers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastián Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Sebastián Villa sped through LiverBird Flyers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alam Wah. Cornelio Villegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Abisheganaden, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Alam Wah came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cavaliers FC's Sebastián Villa. But to his dismay, Sebastián Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind LiverBird Flyers FC's goalkeeper Alam Wah, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastián Villa to make the kick off. The supporters of Cavaliers FC booed when LiverBird Flyers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danial Tian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Villegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göktürk Demir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Cavaliers FC's Alam Wah threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastián Villa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Mikeldi got free with Alam Wah in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jonathan Abisheganaden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's Sebastián Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alam Wah narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, LiverBird Flyers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastián Villa came free, but Alam Wah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastián Villa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alam Wah. That made the score 0-7 in the 77 minute of play. In the 80th minute, Sebastián Villa made a precise shot to the right of Alam Wah. LiverBird Flyers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Alam Wah came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cavaliers FC's Cecilio Feliz. But to his dismay, Cecilio Feliz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Cavaliers FC's Pastor Etxeberri was substituted for Ambrosio Iratxo. Danial Tian made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Göktürk Demir however managed to control. Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Desiderio Rami replaced Teofilo Mikeldi.
