Boulogne F.C.'s Ask Stamnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Szumlanski in the 5th minute of play. Cássio Calçada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ask Stamnes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Boulogne F.C.'s Leal Simões threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Modesto Tiso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Boulogne F.C. were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after KINGS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauricio Tano took the corner. The corner ended in Desiderio Bihar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KINGS FC's Leal Simões did a great save. Cássio Calçada took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ask Stamnes. Ask Stamnes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Paulo Valadão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KINGS FC's Leal Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save KINGS FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Boulogne F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Blas Manni hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Mauricio Tano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leal Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ask Stamnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jānis Blūms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ask Stamnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Calçada, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cássio Calçada kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Ask Stamnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Valadão in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauricio Tano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Boulogne F.C.'s Candido Bieito got a free kick in the 51st minute. Ask Stamnes made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Jānis Blūms sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd minute of the match KINGS FC got a corner. Boulogne F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cássio Calçada ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jānis Blūms heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mario Thomas's late challenge caught a KINGS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Thomas helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boulogne F.C.! Ask Stamnes had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Cássio Calçada's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of KINGS FC booed when Boulogne F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Manni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Calçada took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ask Stamnes. Boulogne F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 62nd minute KINGS FC were awarded a corner. Cássio Calçada went to the cornerflag to take it. Saverio Sagrario thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ask Stamnes, a very annoying self made goal in the 62nd minute which led to 1-2. Ask Stamnes made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Zoltán Tálas sent off a good shot on target. Boulogne F.C.'s Ask Stamnes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Boulogne F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Tano in the 68th minute of play forced KINGS FC's goalkeeper Leal Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Boulogne F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Tálas came free, but Ask Stamnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Szumlanski struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ask Stamnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KINGS FC. In the 74th minute Christian Szumlanski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ask Stamnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Cássio Calçada got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ask Stamnes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 82nd match minute, Boulogne F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Bieito to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Boulogne F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Calçada came free, but Ask Stamnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes KINGS FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Valadão. 96 minutes into the match, Boulogne F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Calçada came free, but Ask Stamnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KINGS FC played a much better game than Boulogne F.C. and deserved their victory. The Boulogne F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
