Social Futebol Clube's Nelson da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charro Dieguez in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urritz Cugurulls in the 7th minute of play forced Social Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Nelson da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ya Perdimos F.C. booed when Social Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Social Futebol Clube's Nelson da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urritz Cugurulls in the 11th minute of play. Nelson da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Gancedo in the 12th minute of play. José Saramago took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelson da Silveira. Nelson da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nelson da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Saramago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes of play, Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Urritz Cugurulls made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson da Silveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nelson da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urritz Cugurulls in the 20th minute of play. Nelson da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urritz Cugurulls in the 22nd minute of the match. Zé Soeiro hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Social Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when José Saramago came free, but Nelson da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ya Perdimos F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 42 minutes into the game, one of Social Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Reinaldo Gancedo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Nelson da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Gancedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes Social Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Salles. 47 minutes into the match, Social Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Charro Dieguez came free, but Nelson da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Social Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charro Dieguez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Anselmo Celaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Nelson da Silveira made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urritz Cugurulls got free with Nelson da Silveira in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitinho Leme during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Vitinho Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
