Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Ombu's Grant Danes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wolfram Mattheis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Rossi having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Ombu got a freekick which was hit by Grant Danes. 11 minutes into the match, Ombu's goal looked a bit too open when Friedrich Reubold came free, but Agustin Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes Ombu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wolfgang Schui who took care of the corner kick. After 13 played minutes FC Eisenberg got a freekick which was hit by Wolfram Mattheis. Valentin Lidon came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bastian Abel could save by the left post. In the 20th minute Luka Peters suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. FC Eisenberg made a substitution. Hansjörg Siekkötter replaced Luka Peters. After a rather tough play, Ombu's Grant Danes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Agustin Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Friedrich Reubold in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Friedrich Reubold in the 27th minute of play forced Ombu's goalkeeper Agustin Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FC Eisenberg from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Matthias Tilk in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ombu's Godfredo Mendez. 39 minutes into the match, Valentin Lidon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bastian Abel, 1-0. Bastian Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grant Danes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute of the match Ombu got a corner. FC Eisenberg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremias Ugaitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Ombu booed when FC Eisenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Friedrich Reubold didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mirko Saßmannshausen made a kick off. Valentin Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bastian Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wolfram Mattheis in the 56th minute. Bastian Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Lidon in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Ombu's Valentin Lidon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bastian Abel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Eisenberg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeremias Ugaitz was slow to take the kick. During this time Ombu's players had a chance to rest. Agustin Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mirko Saßmannshausen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Friedrich Reubold in the 65th minute. In the 66th of the match, Mirko Saßmannshausen tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Agustin Rossi got in the way and made a wonderful save. Grant Danes hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Agustin Rossi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Agustin Rossi was a little too slow when Wolfram Mattheis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Agustin Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Schui in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Ombu's Grant Danes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bastian Abel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Friedrich Reubold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ombu's Agustin Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Ombu from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mirko Saßmannshausen in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustin Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentin Lidon took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bastian Abel. Bastian Abel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Wolfgang Schui took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Agustin Rossi to make any attempt to save it. In the 88thth minute of the game Valentin Lidon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Eisenberg's goalkeeper Bastian Abel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
