After taking down the ball on Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s corner Görkem Güneş fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alexandre Cunha quite easily take care of the ball. Fernando Bertin charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Peñaloza's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Oihan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseba Diez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Qwinton Lastras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alexandre Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
