Fanis Peros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Peter Lundgren made a huge save. After having played for 47 minutes, Nikos Stavrou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lipochσrion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Stavrou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Bure to strike the kick off in the second half. Nikos Stavrou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Lundgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Nikos Stavrou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lipochσrion FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Benknotorna's zone, Fanis Peros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Lundgren came out of the goal and Fanis Peros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lipochσrion FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Stathis Aggelakos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Benknotorna's Patrik Matsson got a free kick in the 95th minute. Lipochσrion FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
