An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Tonete in the 8th minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Theagenis Giannou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8thth minute of the game Benigno Tonete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lipochσrion FC's Theagenis Giannou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Nikos Stavrou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavino Calixto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some careless play in the General Tanz II defense, Nikos Stavrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Calixto. The General Tanz II fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Calixto should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute, Lipochσrion FC's Nikos Stavrou dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. When Iraklis Akrivakis fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lipochσrion FC's protests and gave Iraklis Akrivakis a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Lipochσrion FC got a freekick which was hit by Iraklis Akrivakis. Gavino Calixto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Stavrou in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lipochσrion FC's zone, Sverker Rosén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theagenis Giannou came out of the goal and Sverker Rosén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gavino Calixto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikos Stavrou in the 32nd minute. Theagenis Giannou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Tavio in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the General Tanz II defense, Nikos Stavrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Calixto. The General Tanz II fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Calixto should have stopped the shot. Gavino Calixto was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Nikos Stavrou capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nikos Stavrou really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. Gavino Calixto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Stavrou in the 43rd minute of play. Theagenis Giannou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Tonete, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikos Stavrou made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Lipochσrion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanos Agapoulis to maneuver through the defense. Theagenis Giannou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Tonete in the 54th minute of play. Nikos Stavrou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Calixto having to interfere. In the 63rd minute of the match, Benicio Tavio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Theagenis Giannou saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Stavrou in the 65th minute of play forced General Tanz II's goalkeeper Gavino Calixto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theagenis Giannou came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by General Tanz II's Benigno Tonete. But to his dismay, Benigno Tonete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. General Tanz II's Bartolo Mantzio was substituted for Sverker Rosén. General Tanz II's Gregorio Totakoxe was substituted for Arsenio Peruanton. Benicio Tavio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Theagenis Giannou made a huge save. In the 72nd match minute, General Tanz II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Totakoxe to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Nikos Stavrou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Calixto. The Lipochσrion FC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Lipochσrion FC's Nikos Stavrou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 91st minute Nikos Stavrou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Calixto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
