The Gavino Calixto was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Zenon Cipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Tavio in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Tabor Załom's Zenon Cipinski got control of the ball when Benigno Tonete tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edward Jucha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Tonete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Cipinski having to interfere.
