Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Lucho Putin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 39th minute, one of General Tanz II:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for General Tanz II. In the 43rd minute Song Di Xu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Song Di Xu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. General Tanz II's Natalio Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Song Di Xu in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
