In the 16th minute of the match, Gonçalo Sanches tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulo Gaizkine saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 19 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Sanches came free, but Paulo Gaizkine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Jereba 4EVER's Geovani Sanches sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Gaizkine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Geovani Sanches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Paulo Gaizkine made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maicon Trevisan. Jereba 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Alberto Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. João Pedro Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Paulo Gaizkine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raí Peixoto lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Maicon Trevisan had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Erik Sanches's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Pedro Moreno made a kick off. Maicon Trevisan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmir Pombal in the 54th minute. A collision led to Jereba 4EVER getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. João Pedro Moreno hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Catugi FC defense, João Pedro Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Gaizkine. The Catugi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Gaizkine should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enio Terra during the 74th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmir Pombal couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute Carlos Alberto Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Jereba 4EVER's goalkeeper Maicon Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walmir Pombal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walmir Pombal got free with Maicon Trevisan in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Catugi FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
